The Problem?
I’m 50 years old and still outrun many 20-year-olds. But my mind tells a different story — resistance, friction, the sharpness fading. Watching my parents wrestle with dementia, especially my mother’s ongoing battle, I knew my path was headed there too.
Years ago, I dove deep into biohacking—living ketogenic, optimizing cognition, chasing every edge. But the last four years changed everything. Buying and running a wedding venue and Airbnb ranch drained every ounce of energy and added relentless stress, pushing me to my limits.
Then, this past fall, my father passed away, worn out by years of hard living. It hit me: it’s time to focus, not just for me, but to fight for my mother’s future as well. I believe cognitive decline isn’t a foregone conclusion—it can be slowed, reversed, even healed.
